Education at our Mahila College
Our college primarily provides Bachelors (B. Com) and Masters (M. Com) Degree in Commerce stream (Business) along with professional training such as SCOPE (Society for Creation of Opportunity - through proficiency in English which is an essential element of modern day employment requirements), GKS (Gujarat Knowledge Society's – professional Course to impart professional trainings to build the bridge between College education and professional requirement for a meaningful employment) and CA (Chartered Account) to make them skilled professionals.
Our Humble Beginning
In 2002, we humbly began our mission under banner of "Sardar Patel Vidya Bhavan" – an undergraduate commerce college, which is recognized and affiliated to Gujarat University. We began our journey enrolling 84 female students in first year of a three years Bachelor degree course in commerce (B. Com). Our primary objective was to provide college education to underprivileged women at an affordable and economic cost on case-by-case basis. Under this mission, today we have enrolled 508 female students for B. Com. and Master Degree altogether. Inevitable, this mission required funding which comes from many individual donors and institutions. Now we are proud to say that we have also been granted by esteemed organization of "Share N Care" (USA) which works towards women empowerment.
